Little Red Riding Hood is the title character from a well-known folktale which first appeared in print as “Le Petit Chaperon Rouge” in a 1697 French text on morality by Charles Perrault. Through this story, young ladies were warned to never talk to strangers, lest they end up in the clutches of a wolf.
This child’s stein replaced an earlier model made for Löwenbräu München which had been discontinued.
