Bad Reichenhall is a southern Bavarian spa town and administrative center of the Berchtesgaden Land District located near Salzburg, Austria. Side images on the stein depict the Königliches Kurhaus (Royal Spa House), used today as a conference center, and nearby Berchtesgaden, perhaps best known as the location of Adolf Hitler’s vacation retreat and an outpost of the German imperial chancellery during World War II.
